How University of Salford has prepared me for my career in Marketing and Event Coorindation.

During my time at University of Salford, I have undertaken useful courses that combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to Marketing, such as, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Search & Social Media Marketing. These courses have facilitated building a strong foundation of knowledge on the concepts within Marketing.

Additionally, University of Salford has also provided us with programs and events where guest speakers, or industry professionals would visit and give us valuable insight on the latest trends and challenges in marketing. Furthermore, group projects and presentations have also helped me with developing interpersonal skills such as teamwork, communication skills and multitasking which are useful to the progression of my career in being an Event Coordinator. I am confident that UoS has prepared me with the knowledge and ability to successfully incorporate my passion for Event Coordination and consolidate Marketing to create social events that leave lasting impressions.
